Joe Gamble is, quite simply, the best defensive and disruptive midfielder we ever had. Got an international call up when still with Cork City. Won't score goals but he's hard, bossy and good with the ball.
A key player in the Keane type role.
His performances weren't up to his usual standard this year, but there's been a lot of off the field stuff going on at this club.

He's playing tonight for the ressies against Sunderland.
There's rumours of Colin Healy coming here in January too as he is out of favour at Ipswich.

Gamble signed for us today. Hope he's as good as you reckon he potentially is. We've been desperate for this sort of player.
