Frank and Walters back for another gig

23/01/2016 | 00:00

Legendary '90s Indie rockers The Frank and Walters evidently can't get enough of the Listowel audience - at one bar in particular.

Just a few months after first playing Mike the Pies, they've confirmed a second date for the Patrick Street premises.

The Frank and Walters are taking to the stage once more there on Friday, February 26, next with tickets priced at €20 on sale now from the popular public house.

WATYM, London Bridge,Crazy and Somewhere in the City....interesting, very interesting ! How'd the new songs sound on first hearing KitKat? Hopefully the new album is available in vinyl. :-)

The new songs were really, really good as you can imagine. Crazy has really cool guitar on it. When it was over, I immediately wanted to hear it again. We are the Young Men was very catchy with a chorus you'd want to sing along to. Really cool stuff. It's going to be a great year!

London Bridge and Somewhere in the City. I can't quite remember why I liked them, but I did. The excitement of the rest of the set has blurred my memory! I think one of them had sad lyrics about a failed romance.
