Had a few listens since downloading last night. Early favourites are:
Stages
Fishes
Circumstance
Somewhere in the city

What's everyone else think so far?

I expected to like it, but I can't get over how absolutely perfect it is. Every.Single.Song. Often with a new album, there will be 2 or 3 tracks that need to grow on me, but this one was just instant. This evening, my favourites are "Hanging on the Edge" and "Riviera". How flipping addictive is "Circumstance"??!!! Amazing! "Fishes" is classic Franks' gorgeousness with their signature euphoric chorus. I am so excited about hearing the songs live. I'm blown away just listening to them on my iPod!!

Great album. Really, really enjoying it.
I was driving into work in the car this morning and 1234567 came on. Over the weekend I would have said it was the weakest song on the album but the lyrics and that line about 'facing death in the eye' really caught me off guard this morning, I hadn't heard them properly over the weekend and I've fallen in love with it!
Amazing how things grow on you...

Anyone else notice anything strange with the physical CD. It doesn't play on my home HiFi (weird) but it does play in the car and on the DVD player?
And the CD text names (when it comes up on the car) are different for 3 songs...
Goddess = London Bridge
Circumstance = Crazy
Riviera = French 60's
Paul mentioned London Bridge as a song title they had changed in Murphy's Brewery for that gig, so they obviously made some late changes to the song names...

Hopefully this is a quirk they will fix and we have a very limited edition!

The vocals on 1234567 are incredible!!! Man can he sing!!! That's interesting about the song titles on the car radio. Must check that out. I thought that Riviera sounded French, but hadn't actually associated the name Riviera with the French vibe. Very cool that the original title was 60s French. I feel clever now :D

I pre-ordered the cd and have been enjoying the MP3's but really want to have the physical product.
Is anyone else still waiting for the CD to arrive in the UK?

Just received the new Teenage Fanclub LP, Here, in the post this morning, the art work is beautiful which reminded me that SFTWW (beautiful artwork as well) hasn't been released on vinyl...will it be at some stage?
