Trains Boats and Planes *Remastered*

Post by tonycochrane » 02 Nov 2012 21:42

Just bought the newly remastered Trains Boats and Planes. Delighted to get a remastered version. Love the original but the production did sound a bit dated and kind of tinny. Songs like Daisy Chain and Trainspotters given a new lease of life. Great Job. Bring on the Savoy. Coming home from Canada for Xmas and it will be the highlight. Hoping to make New York gig - finances depending. WE ARE!

I'd love to get my hands on the remastered CD and a T-shirt.

But I am stuck in Las Vegas.

Any chance these will be in the shop?

Just come cross your review for this on Amazon Tony! Nice one :)

Forgot to look for this last night when I was doing my emusic downloads, but good to see they've got it (here if anyone else is wants it off there: http://www.emusic.com/listen/#/album/th ... /13669983/: ) so I've put it in my 'saved for later' to get next month. Looking forward to hearing it actually as I agree that when you listen to the original it sounds a bit 'muffled'. Part of that is how much sound is whacked up these days though when mixing (just look at the 'mountains' on soundcloud ferinstance!) ... I bought my original CD of this in the train station at Rotterdam on a visit there in the 90s, a very battered secondhand copy!
